Volunteer With Community PAL

Community PAL is a volunteer program for Santa Barbara area High School students and adult community members who want to join the Santa Barbara Police Activities League in making a positive difference in the community.

Youth Volunteers

High School Students Ages 13-18

Interested in earning Community Service Hours, making connections, developing job related skills, and being part of a growing community? Community PAL is a great place to be!

To Join Community PAL:

Youth applicants must be enrolled in a local school and between 13-18 years old.

  1. Submit an Application

  2. Complete an Interview

  3. Commit to Volunteering 5-10 Hours per Month

  4. Attend Trainings

  5. Join Us In Making A Difference!

The biggest way you can support SBPAL is by making a donation, but the gift of time is equally appreciated!

With a robust curriculum of youth programs throughout the year, we are always open to hearing from adults interested in volunteering their time with Community PAL.

Sample Volunteer Opportunities Include:

  • Large Event Set-Up, Staffing, and Clean-Up

  • Community-Wide Clean-Up Events

Custom volunteer opportunities are also available to match your professional experience and personal interests, at the discretion of SBPAL leadership.
