Meet Our Board of Directors

Under the careful guidance of our talented Board of Directors, SBPAL has grown from serving 50 youth to providing no-cost programming to more than 750 youth annually, helping program participants to develop self-confidence, leadership skills, academic achievement, and a strong sense of community.

The Board includes a representative of Santa Barbara Police Department, known as the Chief's Advisor, who is personally selected by the Police Chief. Other board representatives include additional officers, community members, program alumni, and parents; each who are seated approximately every 2-4 years.

These compassionate individuals work tirelessly to further the mission of Santa Barbara Police Activities League, as we strive to build the bridge between cops, kids, and our community through mentorship, leadership, and academic enrichment programs.
